As we welcome the season of fall, the Chi rho Cardinals are reporting once again. This week, our 2016-2017 choir sang from the balcony of the church. And boy did they sing like angels! The school, including ourselves, can't wait to hear you again. Recently, our 7th grade girls had their first spiritual awakening ceremony of the year. They learned that we are all brides of Christ. Tune in next week for our next report!

Bible Verse of the Week

"You are God's chosen people. Always be ready to care for others, and be kind and gentle. Be patient and calm and never boast about or be proud of your goodness. Just as God always forgives you, so you must always be forgiving towards others. Fill your hearts with love, and whatever you do, do it for God."
Colossians 3:12-14, 23

This week, the Chi rho Cardinals have a lot to report on. Our 8th grade classes attended their first mass with their pre-k buddies. They did very well, and are ready to do so much with them! 7th graders cleaned the loft in our church. Thanks for helping out guys/girls! Our 6th graders went to a spiritual awakening/praise and worship ceremony this week. They learned a lot about each other's feelings , and experienced reconciliation and forgiveness. Also, the entire student body had a chance to touch and pray over a rosary, which will soon be put into the time capsule, to be opened in 25 years. Join us next week for more!

To start off our blog, the Junior High students went through the sacrament of reconciliation. Some of us were a bit nervous, but we now know that our souls are clean from sin. Glad to share our experience!

Welcome to Chi rho Cardinals! In this blog, you will learn about the Junior High Religion classes, and what they do. Each post is from a student's point of view. So please, remember to keep Christ in your heart daily. Enjoy!
